At NTI, raising awareness of Motor Neurone Disease is a cause close to our hearts. With our former CEO, Wayne Patterson, diagnosed with the illness, we are proud to announce a new partnership with the MND and Me Foundation.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a degenerative disease which affects the nerves controlling the muscles that allow you to move, speak, breathe or swallow. Each day in Australia two people are diagnosed with this fatal disease of which there is no cure.
NTI and we will be raising awareness and funds for MND and Me at a range of national and local events. As our first major fundraising endeavour, we have entered 14 teams of NTI People in the Great Southern Crossing virtual cycling challenge which began on the 1st September.
The month long challenge will see teams of 5 cycling 5,200km on the virtual route across Australia to help raise funds to support the MND and Me Foundation in their work to assist people and their families living with MND and promote community awareness.
