Each change has been designed to make your day-to-day quoting experience smoother, clearer, and more efficient.

The Efficiency Advantage & Upcoming Sunrise Enhancements

In this webinar, we explore where inefficiencies commonly arise across the life of a policy, and how they can add time, cost and complexity for brokers and their customers.

We then step through our Sunrise platform enhancements and policy wording updates, showing how these changes have been designed to reduce friction, support more efficient workflows, and free up time to focus on supporting customers and growing your portfolio.

FAQs

  • Turnover has not traditionally been captured for Motor only quotes. In the in the new platform, doing this earlier supports the quote journey and avoids additional questions later in the process. Additionally, it also supports eligibility logic and future platform functionality in the pipeline.

     Importantly, for Motor-only quotes, turnover is not currently used in the motor premium calculation. It is collected to support eligibility/referral logic and platform functionality.

  • The NTI Broker Hub (https://www.nti.com.au/broker/tools-guides/sunrise-platform-updates); houses all available resources related to Sunrise platform changes and wording enhancement. Additionally, we encourage you to reach out to your NTI contact for further support.

  • The new occupations options better align with the information brokers collect and allows us to integrate with broker systems. The granularity also allows for better rating.

  • We now capture this information earlier in the journey on the "Operations" tab.  Simply navigate back to the operations tab to update these details if required.  The new flexible navigation allows you to easily jump back and forward to these pages.

  • Broker feedback overwhelmingly indicated the desire for not seeing a referral on Covernote. By asking all questions upfront - we can deliver this.

  • As part of this initial platform rollout the changes impact our Transport Pack and Yellow Cover products, and their respective schemes. We look forward to continuing to improve our Sunrise offering and expanding our product enhancements.

  • As part of NTI's reinsurance arrangements, we're now required to provide more detail about our risk exposure. Information is collected and handled in accordance with NTI’s Privacy Policy.

  • Yellow Cover is designed for plant and machinery business with trucks as accommodation. Where the make-up of risk does not reflect this specialty then it will refer in for NTI to assess.

  • Portable work tools means any of the following items used primarily by the insured's business that are owned by the Insured:

    A. Portable power tools operated by a motor;

    B. Manually operated hand held tools;

    C. Portable electronics, mobile phones, laptops and the like;

    D. Portable surveying equipment.

  • Yes. There has been no change to our acceptance of manual slips from brokers, which are subject to underwriting review, eligibility and approval.

  • You can search by both VIN and registration number.

  • Unfortunately, this is a Sunrise issue and NTI has no control over the length of the schedules. We can only control the documents NTI makes, which we're pleased to have received a lot of positive feedback on.

  • The current NTI mainframe system limits our ability to do this, but as we progress through the upgrade we plan make this functionality available. In the meantime, there is "duplicate item" button to help make the process easier.  Simply duplicate the old item, change the radius, and then delete the old one.
