How do I lodge a claim?
Customers seeking to lodge a claim can do so by contacting their broker or reaching NTI directly via our 24/7 NTI Accident Assist number on 1800 NTI NOW (1800 684 669).

What information do I need to lodge a claim?
Please have the following details available when lodging your claim:
- Policy number
- Vehicle registration number
- Driver's licence
- Information about what happened, including any supporting documents such as a police report

What photos can help progress my claim?
- Any identifying equipment model badges
- VIN number
- A wide shot of the damaged area
- An image of the equipment in the damage zone
- Photos of all panels of your equipment
- Odometer reading
- Equipment interior

What happens after I lodge my claim?
An NTI Claims Manager will evaluate the damage at lodgement to determine the next steps. NTI will endeavour to contact you within four business hours of receiving notification of your claim from you or your broker.

I've had some personal items damaged. What do I do about those?
Please take photos of your damaged personal items, create a list and locate as many receipts as possible. Your Claims Manager will discuss all potential losses with you.

What happens if my vehicle or equipment is a total loss?
Laws vary across Australia regarding when an item needs to be written off. NTI will advise whether it is repairable and talk you through your options after it has been assessed.

Can I choose my own repairer?
Yes. NTI offers you choice of repairer; however, our accredited Premium Repairer Network is designed to meet any repair need. Our network of trusted Premium and Local Repairers is rapidly expanding across Australia, with more than 50 repairers nationwide.
