Andrew Kidd
Chief Underwriting Officer
As NTI’s Chief Underwriting Officer, Andrew leads a cross-functional portfolio encompassing Underwriting, Product Management, Actuarial, Strategy, Insurance Risk, Reinsurance, Data & Insights, along with CoRsafe - NTI’s supply chain & management, auditing, compliance and training platform.
Andrew was appointed to the role in August 2025 and brings with him more than 35 years’ experience in the Australian insurance industry, with specialist expertise in underwriting, marine insurance, reinsurance, and risk management.
He joined NTI in 2017 as the company’s first Head of Marine, and in 2022 was appointed NTI’s Head of Insurance Risk and Reinsurance.
During his time at NTI Andrew has served as Chair of the Insurance Council of Australia’s Marine Working Group and member of the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) Cargo Technical Committee.
