What you’ll love about the opportunity
Working within a highly skilled specialist team and reporting to the Litigation Team Manager, this role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of complex, litigated third-party claims, including credit hire, at-fault, and non-at-fault matters.
You will play a critical role in driving strong cost outcomes, protecting our customers, and supporting NTI’s commercial objectives by working closely with our external solicitor panel and internal stakeholders. This is a role for someone who enjoys complexity, strategic thinking, and influencing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
Manage a portfolio of litigated and complex third-party claims, working closely with appointed external solicitors
Evaluate claim exposure and develop tailored litigation strategies to achieve optimal cost and resolution outcomes
Apply strong technical expertise across credit hire, liability, quantum, and recovery matters
Review evidence and legal advice, providing clear recommendations and insights to leaders
Review, assess, and negotiate settlement offers, including liability and costs
Authorise payments in line with delegated authority
Identify and report on settlement and litigation trends, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive innovative solutions that improve claims outcomes and customer experience
Provide coaching and technical support to Claims Consultants on third-party claims, liability assessments, and negotiation techniques
