This is a critical role, responsible for elevating learning and development across the company, embedding a culture of continuous learning and development, organisational design and strategy whilst helping our people confidently navigate the future—especially in the age of AI.


The Opportunity

This is not your average L&D leadership role. We’re seeking someone who brings not only technical depth in learning and capability development but also broader commercial (and HR) experience and acumen. This role requires a strategic thinker who can:

  • Lead and stretch a high-performing team (with team members in multiple locations)

  • Elevate the positioning of learning as a strategic enabler across the organisation

  • Champion innovation in learning, including the use of AI to enhance experiences

  • Help our people build confidence and capability in an AI-augmented world

 

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Designing and delivering a modern company-wide learning strategy aligned with our strategic goals

  • Organisational development across the business

  • Driving innovation in learning—especially the integration of AI into learning design, delivery, and performance enablement

  • Instructional design, development and training delivery for a range of identified training needs and initiatives (utilising a variety of delivery methods from e-learning to facilitated delivery)

  • Building AI literacy and capability across the workforce, supporting ethical and effective adoption

  • Manage learning platforms, technologies and external third-party supplier relationships to maximise value and engagement

  • Influencing and partnering with senior leaders to embed learning into business planning and workforce strategy

  • Evolving leadership and capability frameworks that prepare our people for future skill demands

  • Measuring learning impact and driving data-informed improvements

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A seasoned L&D leader with experience lifting learning maturity and building enterprise-wide capability strategies

  • Experience In delivering cultural transformation learning and development programs

  • Organisational development experience Is essential

  • Provide strategic advice on organisational development, cultural transformation, leadership growth, and change readiness.

  • Proven expertise in designing and deploying digital and AI-driven learning ecosystems

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership and executive levels

  • A change leader—able to inspire, challenge thinking, and bring energy and pace

  • Strategic, systems-thinking mindset with a track record of measurable impact

  • Tertiary qualifications in L&D, OD, HR or a related field
