A handful of people from the Melbourne Office (Shane Fairhall, Ciarda Lavery, Zerina Halilovich & Renzo Antidormi) teamed up with solicitor Peter Penno from Thomsons Lawyers to give their time to FareShare’s catering facility.
The five put their kitchen expertise to the test and were able to create a significant number of vegetable pies which involved:
- Kneading and rolling out pastry
- Making the pie casing
- Filling the casing with vegetables
- Completing the pie by covering the top with pastry in preparation for baking
