Our Claims Team

Our Claims Team is an essential part of the NTI story. Our Claims Consultants are on the phone every day with people from all walks of life and we genuinely care about our customers, and love talking to them about their businesses. Our Claims Consultants ask lots of questions to get the bottom of a claim and always find innovative solutions to problems to ensure the best possible outcome for our customers. Our Claims Consultants are proactive in making this happen they are not afraid to dive right in to find solutions and deliver on our promises. About the role

This role is based in our Perth office and reports to the Claims Operations Manager - Express.  The main focus of the role is to provide prompt attention to all claims from initial contact to assessment, investigation and settlement of claims in accordance with the company standards and to provide a high standard of customer service.   

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage claims from start through to completion.
  • Manage claims within the Company’s agreed quality and service standards.
  • Attend to all administrative matters in relation to claims.
  • Build rapport and effective relationships over the phone and face to face.
  • Foster collaborative working relationships and communications within and across NTI departments.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the team and proactively contribute to team goals and the work of individual colleagues.
  • Contribute to innovative solutions to claims cost and customer service processes.
  • Other duties as required.

To be successful you will have:

  • Relevant industry qualifications such as ANZIF or equivalent or agreement to commencement of such qualifications within the first 12 months of employments.
  • Previous work experience, in the insurance industry would be highly regarded but not essential.  
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • The ability to comprehend and apply new knowledge quickly.
  • A strong customer focus, service ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • The ability to negotiate priorities and manage expectations.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
