Your next opportunity

Based in our brand new offices in Brisbane CBD, you will work within an agile framework to contribute to the design, development and implementation of new and/or improved software products. Your work will include BAU as well as involvement in a variety of projects with a UX/UI focus. Day to day, you will:

  • Code, unit test and debug software within a SCRUM environment
  • Analyse problems, identify priorities, provide technical solutions and feedback
  • Assist in the analysis, design, development and implementation of new products and features
  • Review incoming enhancement requests in regard to their feasibility, estimated work content and urgency
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with the business to provide technical solutions
  • Ensure that system documentation and the appropriate software metrics are kept up to date
  • Assist coaching other software developers and broaden overall knowledge of the IT team

 

What we'll love about you:

You’ll be someone who works hard, but likes to have a laugh with the team. You will be an excellent communicator and have a customer-centric approach. In terms of your experience, we’d like to see a track record of you working effectively and collaborating within agile teams. In addition, you will have: 

  • The ability to understand and apply essential software patterns to build software the right way
  • Knowledge and experience in some or all of the following – Java, Springboot, Angular, MSSQL
  • Experience building effective UI/UX for applications (eCommerce experience is highly regarded)
  • Ability to readily consume and apply new information and concepts
  • Demonstrated high level problem solving skills
  • High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to change and manage multiple priorities
