Logging harvester Description

A logging harvester is typically used in the forestry industry for felling, de-limbing and cutting tree trunks into logs (bucking trees). It is an all terrain vehicle and can move on wheels or tracks, similar to an excavator. The harvester head is attached to an extendible arm (articulated boom), which is attached to the main body of the vehicle.

Combination logging harvesters and forwarders (load carrier) are also used.
