Tracked crane Description

A tracked crane, sometimes called a ‘crawler’, is designed to lift and lower heavy materials, moving them from one location to another. The booms are often latticed, fitted with wire ropes or chains and a hook or hooks which attach to sheaves and a hoist and work together to do the lifting.

Tracked cranes are suited to working in the toughest conditions, including on rough terrain. They come in a range of different sizes and have different lift capacities.
