Depending on the size and type of vehicle, the most common features include an adjustable boom winch for recovering vehicles in hard-to-reach locations, belt lifts to tow vehicles on one axle, a wheel lift to support and lift either the front or rear wheels and, for heavy duty tow trucks, an integrated lift.
