Tow truck Description

A tow truck is a vehicle used to transport motor vehicles from one location to another. Generally they are used to transport vehicles that are no longer drivable or have broken down and need to be repaired.

Depending on the size and type of vehicle, the most common features include an adjustable boom winch for recovering vehicles in hard-to-reach locations, belt lifts to tow vehicles on one axle, a wheel lift to support and lift either the front or rear wheels and, for heavy duty tow trucks, an integrated lift.
