Cab chassis Description

The structural support needed in a vehicle is provided by the chassis – it’s the vehicle’s steel frame. A cab chassis is a vehicle that combines both the frame and the driver’s cab with the vehicle’s axels, wheels, suspension, engine, transmission, driveshaft and differential. It is the base upon which all rigid-type trucks are built.

Cab chassis come in a range of different sizes, have different load-carry capacities and are suited to different trailers. They allow their owners the flexibility to assemble the right vehicle to suit their needs.
